“I started painting with oils, water colours, and then acrylics, and that was when I knew that I had found the perfect medium for me.Itry to have an overall plan what I am going to paint, but sometimes when I feel spontaneous, I just start painting.  Painting daily is important to me; trying to master my skills, learning new approaches. There is always a painting in progress, or I start something completely new.  In the beginning, I might have some idea how I will paint, but at the end , the painting might be totally different from what I had in mind, when I started. My art covers a wide spectrum of subjects. I enjoy painting landscapes with loons and lakes. Marine sceneries are also very close to my heart. Painting  is a lifelong experience and I hope that you take a moment to look at my latest art work in my in-home studio-gallery, when visiting Port Colborne. Please, call first before coming and I will be at home.”, Esa
