Derek Richards, “Mostly Abstract”

Our resident photographer, Derek Richards, showing his photography exhibition, “Mostly Abstract”.  Derek’s show open June 15 to July 28, with the Artist’s Reception on Sunday, June 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.   Everyone welcome.   This clever and  skillful gallery member is a world traveler and established photographer who enjoys engaging the public with images of his travels using various photo techniques.  Prices for his digital prints range from $20 to $140 framed.  Read more about Derek and his exhibition at:

In keeping with our photography theme, the Gallery welcomes and encourages camera enthusiasts of all ages to share their favourite “summer image” photo for exhibition at the gallery.   The public is invited to submit a maximum of two 4” X 6” photos, mounted on white paper 5-1/2” X 8-1/2”.  Please include the title of the picture, participant’s name on the front with a phone number and email address on the back.  All photos will be returned after July 28.    Submissions  for our “Summer Image” Wall can be mailed or dropped off during gallery hours.  Prizes are available and there is no charge to enter your photos.  For more information, contact Joyce at 905.899.1519

There are always lots of happenings at the Gallery – don’t be shy, stop in and look around, perhaps that endearing gift is waiting to be selected from the gallery and enjoy the wonderful creative space that the artists are excited about presenting to you.
